The Festival focuses this year on the culinary aspects of the Shrimp Season and combines it’s offer with some of the most renown Baja California Wineries, Traditional Tequila Producers and Local and Regional Folk Artists.

A new concept that focuses on the Visitor Experience and facilitates an enriched exchange between the Chef’s creations and the public, with an emphasis on Restaurants, Local Commerce and YOU our Visitors.

Los organizadores del XVIII Festival del Camaron tienen el proposito de traerle el mejor evento de su tipo en la historia de los festivales.
Cual es la meta de esta edicion ?
Las actividades del festival se enfocan en los aspectos culinarios de la temporada camaronera y complementa en esta ocasion su oferta con la degustacion de vinos Bajacalifornianos y Tequilas.
Que van a encontrar en esta ocasion ?
Un nuevo concepto que se enfoca en la experencia del visitante y facilita un intercambio mas intenso entre las creaciones de los Chefs y el publico. Con un enfasis en los Chefs y Restaurantes participantes, el Comercio Local y Ustedes, Nuestros Visitantes !
Como los vamos a tratar ?
Los organizadores estan creando una red entre los distintos sectores para garantizar que su experiencia en el puerto sea inolvidable y completamente satisfactoria.

I admittingly found this by accident last year. I was attending a wedding reception in town and had no idea this festival was going on. After the reception we went to El Malecon for some food and drink; mostly drink..
and realized that something big was going on. We really enjoyed the festival. So worth the 6 hour drive form LA.. See ya’ll there!
Hi my husband wants to go to the shrimp festival but I’m really scared of the drive… Is it safe to drive through mexicalli???

Yes, just obey all the traffic signs and speeds. Don’t pay any officer, but I think you’ll be fine. You’ll be safe and if you are stopped, try and get a photo. Don’t worry; it’s going to be a great time.
You will be fine, I drive a yukon with cali plates and don’t have any problems while in mexicali.. like kat said, obey all laws and you will be fine… by the way, in mexicali a yellow light means stop! Don’t run a yellow!

Yum! Hoping to make it down for the festival. Last time I went to San Felipe I brought home four pounds of shrimp and ate like a king.
El año pasado mi familia y su servidor tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar a lo grande de este hermoso festival del camaron y deseamos que continue por muchisimos años mas.Mi familia pregunta si en el programa artistico estara uevamente el imitador del Rey del Rock ELVIS PRESLEY,ya que todos disfrutamos de su espectacular show que esta a la altura de LAS VEGAS. Creo me dijeron el artista es de Ensenada y su nombre artistico es Miguel Rey. Espero respuesta por favor si alguien sabe algo al respecto. Gracias
si va estar Elvis!! se presentara el sabado y tambien se presentara un imitador traido de puebla Ottmar de la Rosa lo pueden ver en youtube !
Hola,estoy interesada en asistir al festival: Ahora resido en ensenada pero no sé bien cuál es el transporte q me puede llevar a las instalaciones del festival y si me pueden recomendar algún hotel para esos días.

Keep a copy of this in all your vehicles and do not hesitate to give it to any police officers stopping you and demanding to charge a fine in site or pretending to retain your vehicle for minor violations:

Sounds Great! The town has been so gracious in past festivals, it’s wonderful to hear that all the restaurants are stepping up to the plate and focused on making this the best culinary festival ever!
